This substantial traditional still life presents a lavish arrangement of tulips, roses, and other blossoms alongside pomegranates, grapes, apples, and pears in a decorative bowl or urn. Painted with rich, layered tones against a dark background, the work exhibits fine detail, luminous highlights, and a classical opulence reminiscent of 17th–18th century Flemish and French still life traditions, updated for mid-20th century taste.
